Printer make and model
Determines whether the printer is flat-head or near-edge. Most ribbons are specific to one technology, though some support both. We confirm the fit from the maker's datasheet.

A price given without these five facts is a guess. A ribbon shipped on a guess may not load, may not give the print you expect, or may wear the printhead over time. We ask in order to remove that risk up front.

Size and core
The ribbon must cover the full media width including the liner, with a few millimetres of margin inside the printer's limits. Length and core inner diameter are limited by what the printer accepts.
Wind direction
Is the ink side facing out or in? Depending on the printer, the wrong wind gives a ribbon that either will not load at all or will not print.
Label surface
Coated, vellum, PP, PE or PET. The ribbon type follows the surface. On synthetics a standard wax is usually inadequate; wax-resin or resin is chosen and a rub test is run on the actual media.
Monthly consumption
A one-off purchase and a standing supply work differently. Knowing your usage rhythm lets us plan the next consignment in advance.

What we do not do
We do not sell printer hardware, we do not service printers, and we do not produce custom-printed labels. RFID, pharmaceutical serialisation, direct food-contact labels and safety-certified rating labels are outside our scope as well. We cannot help you there; in return we can be precise about fit and steady supply.
